Her mother Lana is a bank supervisor as is her dad Michael Trachtenberg is a fiber-optics engineer. Michelle Trachtenberg began her career at a young age. She's been featured in many of commercials, movies, and TV series. She's best known as Dawn Summers, the regular role in Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Michelle Trachtenberg was raised in Brooklyn, Sheepshead Bay with her sister Irene. The Bay Academy for the Arts and Sciences was the school she attended in her junior year of high school. The school she attended was Notre Dame High School, Sherman Oaks. She speaks Russian. Trachtenberg won many awards including her Young Artist Award from the Sarasota Film Festival. She received nominations in the Teen Choice Award (youngstar award), Saturn Award (saturn award) and Daytime Emmy Award.
